We take 0% booking commission: customer payments go to your own Billplz account; Billplz may charge its normal gateway fees separately. TempahHQ. The RM50 one-time activation (and RM199/month when monthly billing is enabled) is paid to TempahHQ via TempahHQ’s Billplz account. That is separate from customer booking payments, which settle to your Billplz collection.

Platform activation and subscription fees are generally non-refundable once paid, except where Malaysian consumer law requires otherwise or at TempahHQ’s discretion. See our Terms for the full policy.

No. You can create an account and configure your shop without paying TempahHQ. You only pay RM50 one-time when you go live with the public book page.

Until you pay the RM50 one-time activation, the public book page stays private. Owner admin stays available so you can activate when ready.

There is no long lock-in contract. You can stop using the public book page at any time. Contact hello@lazuar.com if you need help closing an account. See Terms for suspension and termination.

Shops that already activated under the previous one-time model get at least 30 days’ notice before RM199/month charging begins, as stated in our Terms. Ops may also waive individual exceptions.

For many shops, one recovered peak slot or fewer no-shows covers the RM50 one-time activation. You get a professional book link, pay-to-confirm, and admin tools with 0% booking commission — customer money stays on your Billplz.

TempahHQ is appointment booking software for Malaysian shops. You share one book link. Customers pick a service and time, then pay online. The slot is confirmed only when payment succeeds — so your calendar fills with paid bookings, not unpaid promises.

Customer opens your book page, chooses service and time, and starts checkout. The booking stays pending until the payment gateway reports success. Only then is the slot confirmed. If payment fails or is abandoned, the hold expires and the time can open for someone else.

WhatsApp “bookings” and unpaid holds burn your best times. Pay-to-confirm means no slot without successful payment, so you spend less time chasing people who never show up.

The booking is not confirmed. The pending hold expires after a short window so the slot can become available again. You are not stuck with a fake booking on the calendar.

Only one can hold and confirm the time. If two payments race, the product is built so only one confirmation wins; the other path fails cleanly so you do not double-book the same staff and time.

No. TempahHQ does not use a “mark paid cash” happy path. Confirmation and paid state come from the online gateway (and payment links for add-ons). That keeps money state trustworthy and reduces disputes.

Extra amounts after the main booking are collected with payment links, not by staff typing “paid” in cash. When the customer pays the link and the gateway succeeds, the ledger updates.

Full pay online is the default for fixed-price services. That matches our product law: confirm when the gateway succeeds. Special deposit-only flows are not the primary path.

Each shop has a pending hold window (typically around 20 minutes). If payment does not complete in time, the hold expires and the slot can free up.

WhatsApp is chat; TempahHQ is a book link with real availability, online pay, and automatic confirm only when money clears. Less back-and-forth, fewer unpaid holds, one professional link for Instagram or TikTok bios.

Customer booking payments settle to your Billplz collection. TempahHQ is not merchant of record for those appointments. The RM50 one-time platform activation is a separate payment to TempahHQ.

Yes for real customer payments. You connect your Billplz API key, X-Signature key, and collection ID in admin Settings. Sandbox keys work for testing; live keys for real MYR.

Billplz is a Malaysian payment gateway. Customers can pay with methods Billplz supports (such as FPX and cards, depending on your Billplz setup). TempahHQ uses your merchant account so money lands with you.

No. TempahHQ runs booking state, the book page, and admin. Billplz processes customer payments under your merchant account. TempahHQ only processes the RM50 one-time platform activation as platform merchant today.

Whatever your Billplz account enables — commonly online banking (FPX) and cards. Exact methods depend on Billplz and your merchant setup, not on TempahHQ taking the funds.

Use admin Ops tools to recheck the payment with Billplz. Webhooks and a maintenance job also recheck stuck payments. Never guess — confirm from gateway state.
